Center Overview

We are the largest renal care provider in Nashville, Tennessee and in a surrounding sixty mile radius serving fourteen counties. Our twenty-seven (27) Nephrologists, seven (7) Nurse Practitioners, and one (1) Physician Assistant  care for 1,500 hemodialysis and 200 peritoneal dialysis patients in more than 20 outpatient clinics.  In addition, there are over 8,000 active patients followed regularly in our practice with various combinations of renal disease, hypertension, and diabetes. We have access to and working relationships with multiple dialysis companies. We are also affiliated with two renal transplant centers in the Nashville area.

We are committed to the efficient performance of Phase II through IV clinical trials by providing rapid enrollment, timely and accurate data recording, and most importantly, the highest quality of patient care available. We have a completely computerized medical records system, facilitating tracking of diagnoses, medications, and laboratory studies. In addition, we have a standard laboratory refrigerator and a (-20°) freezer dedicated solely for the purpose of storing research lab specimens.

Our Clinical Research Staff are experienced in maintaining ethical standards, regulatory documents, negotiating budgets, accurate completion of Case Report Forms, and Pharmaceutical dispensing and accountability.

Facility Description

Our main office is conveniently located twenty minutes from the Nashville International Airport. There is a conference room and extra office space for visiting monitors. Our practice utilizes a comprehensive electronic charting system. We perform EKG’s, urinalysis, and phlebotomy with blood tests being sent out to any of several available laboratories. In the same building is a large private radiology group, which can perform most commonly available radiology tests including CT scans and MRI’s. The office is located in a safe, central part of the city convenient to major interstate expressways, hospitals, restaurants, and shopping.

Allison Bledsoe, RN

Clinical Research Coordinator
Experience includes Phase II-III clinical trials as a research coordinator.  Allison’s trial focus has been on diabetic nephropathy and anemia trials.  She has a prior background in vascular access procedures and extremely familiar with the dialysis population. 

Jonelle- Marie Currie, ANP-C

Clinical Research Coordinator
Experience includes Phase II-III clinical trials as a research coordinator.  In addition to being a research coordinator, Jonelle coordinates patient care as a nurse practitioner for the physician group.  Jonelle brings an extensive background of renal experience to our research group.
